O Anticristo (em alemão Der Antichrist) é um livro do autor alemão Friedrich Nietzsche, escrito em 1888 e publicado em 1895. É considerado uma das mais ácidas críticas de Nietzsche ao cristianismo, célebre pela frase "O Evangelho morreu na cruz". Seu título original em alemão, Der Antichrist, pode significar tanto "O Anticristo" quanto "O Anti-cristão". Ele não se baseou na figura bíblica do Anticristo.
Ao contrário do que se pensa num primeiro momento, Nietzsche não focou sua crítica em Jesus, mas no cristianismo. Ele faz diversas menções bíblicas e históricas evidenciando a deturpação provocada por Paulo de Tarso e, mais tarde, pelo catolicismo. Não obstante, critica também Lutero, sobre o qual afirma ter perdido a grande oportunidade de evitar a decadência alemã.

I guess Nietzsche is not my thing. The book was extremely boring and seemed just a bunch of thoughts bundled together without a lot of care or attention. We all get that he is frustrated and acid towards religion and that's just fine with me but it seems like he whines all the way through the book and that's just depressing. After about 80 pages or so, every page I turned I felt like ditching the book. I don't know if it was the translation to Portuguese but the grammar was pretty solid, can't complain about that.I apologize to all fans of Nietzsche's work. I'll just leave you to his books and never bother you again.

Uma leitura realmente impactante. Uma forte crítica ao cristianismo sem negar o Cristo, que na visão de Nietzsche seria o único cristão genuino.
